Fu Tian 天 夫
Salzburg based composer, rapper and producer
Tian Fu (天夫), born in Hohhot, is a Salzburg-based composer, rapper, and producer. He is currently a doctoral candidate (Dr. Artium) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. His work spans contemporary composition, electronic and computer music, multimedia performance, free improvisation, and hip-hop. His artistic practice is driven by the concept of mutual permeation, exploring the dynamic exchange between seemingly disparate musical worlds and challenging conventional boundaries between genres, cultural traditions, and modes of expression. He is a co-founder of the rap collective Youquzhi (有趣志), the art-and-ecology collective Eremita, and the experimental music collective Knot. His works have been presented across Europe and Asia in concert halls, festivals, galleries, clubs, and academic conferences. In 2027, he will serve as one of the curators of the aNOther Festival.
